  • Will my presentation matter to the audience? Does it contain material that will be relevant to their lives?

  • When I read it aloud does it sound like a speech? Or does it sound like me talking? 


  • Are there enough examples, stories and visuals to bring what I am saying to life?

  • Is there a theme? 


  • Does it motivate? Does it inspire?

  • Does it contain any humour or wit? 


  • Does it contain jargon that people may not understand?

  • Does my presentation have a big finish, call to action, reinforcement of why it matters?
